PROFILE
Situated at Peringammala in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram district,
Iqbal College is the first college owned by the Muslim community in the
district. The establishment of this College in 1964 was an initiative
of the Iqbal College Trust to alleviate the sad plight of the students
in this highly backward region. Named after the great patriot, philosopher
and educationist Sir Dr.Allama Mohammed Iqbal, the College was set up
with the noble purpose of addressing and redressing the backwardness of
the society in general and the Muslim community in particular.
