The entire course of study for two years is divided into four equal semesters; two semesters in each year. There are three core papers and one elective paper for each semester, covering a total of 16 papers for the whole period of study. Each paper carries 25 marks for Internal Assessment and 75 marks for University examinations. The Project work and Viva-Voce carry 100 marks each

a Semester taken together alone will be allowed to register for the University exam.

Those who secure not less than 30% marks (out of 75 marks) for each paper in University
exam and aggregate minimum of 40% marks including Internal Assessment for all
papers of a Semester shall be declared to have successfully completed the semester.
