The
College aims at not only the attainment of intellectual excellence
and imparting of skills but also intends to stress primacy
of moral, spiritual and ethical values in the integrated development
of man with a view to create good citizens of character and
ability, committed to the service of their fellowmen. Started
as Junior College, the institution has overcome the hiccups
in the initial years and has completed 37 years of successful
functioning. Iqbal College now imparts quality instruction
in the Degree and Post Graduate courses in the disciplines
of Arts, Science and Commerce. Now into its 38th year, the
College received first grade status in 1979.

College is located at a scenic area removed from the maddening
crowds of urbanity in a hillock, six kilometers east of Palode
in the Thiruvananthapuram – Shencottah road. |
